I recently purchased a bergara B14 Mr in 6.5 creedmoor. After looking around on the internet I have ran across several threads where people have had issues (bolt shroud, primer piercing) with hand loads. I'm wondering if there are any folks who reload for this specific rifle and what their experiences have been. Have any of you guys been reloading for this rifle. Do you use the small or large rilfe brass. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

I acquired an HMR in 6.5 creed in a trade and immediately fed it some Hornady Match 140gr ELD factory loads. The results were horrible. Smallest group was just over an inch. Largest group was around 3.
I decided to throw together some handloads using the hornady brass, H4350, CCI BR4 primers, and 130gr Berger AR hybrids. The results were phenomenal (best group of the day attached). Single digit SD and ES.
I have no experience using small rifle primers with this rifle, and I’ve read you’re better off sticking with large rifle primers.
