Thinking about buying one of these if i can find one to get my hands on to get a feel of the chassis and other stuff. Anyone been behind one or have any input that may help? Thanks for any info

I've got one. My first and only "precision" rifle. Shoots half moa if i'm on that day. 5 shot 100 yard groups can cover with a nickel. When I shoot the barrel out, i'm thinking about keeping the chassis and changing the action.

I used one for a Basic PR course at K&M one weekend. Very nice factory rifle.

I also picked up a used BMP take off chassis here for one of my Bighorn's. The chassis is solid and well built. The adjustments work well and the forend is mlok so you can add rails and whatnot if you wish. I added a MDT grip to mine.

How do you like the vertical grip and the straight trigger blade, i was thinking i would probably upgrade both pretty quick after getting it if i can find one to het my hands on prior to ordering and paying for one. Probably will go with a triggertech since they seem to be pretty reliable from the reviews i have read

I like both a lot. The grip is fat but has a neutral feel if that makes sense? I used to be a Timney user but now have 3 Trigger Techs, they are awesome.

PDC Custom also makes a thumb shelf for $15 bucks if you want to add one of those. Just have to drill and tap one hole.

I think you may still like it depending on how you use it. If you float your thumb on the side of the chassis it won't matter. If you want to wrap your thumb around it like an AR it may be too big.

I understand keeping the chassis if you like it, but why would you want to get rid of the action? There's absolutely nothing wrong with the bagara action just get it rebarreled and keep rolling. Not trying to give anybody a hard time here, but I don't feel there's anything wrong with the bagara action, what would you replace it with?

There is nothing wrong with the bergara action. Just want to try something different.
