Berry bullet

Re: Berry bullet

I've shot some Berry's - can't remember if they were 45 or 9. My experience with plated bullets in general is they work great out of traditional rifling at moderate speeds. If I need to go faster (like my 9mm Major uspsa open gun) I use Montana Gold jacketed.

Re: Berry bullet

I haven't used these bullets exactly but have used various Berry's Bullets in 9mm, .40 S&W, .38 Spl, and .45ACP with excellent results. I haven't had any issue with leading but i don't push them very fast. I think you will be pleased once you get a good load for them. Good Luck! Tony

Re: Berry bullet

+1 for precision delta. I was shooting berry's till I found PD were even cheaper. I had good results with them. I hear you should be careful crimping them. as they could could come apart at higher velocity's. I shot thousands of 9mm 124 at 1070 fps with with 4.1 of titegroup oal 1.140. shot well out of a glock 17 also.

Re: Berry bullet

no problems with the Berry's. I've gotten Berry's that were cheaper than the PD prices shown on their website. I ordered several thousand about 6 months ago and have not had to restock...let me try and find where I got them from
