I just bought an Athlon Helos 6-24 to move from rifle to rifle working up reloads. What 30mm rings would you suggest for that duty. Something I can take off and on repeatedly moving from rifle to rifle. I will be working up loads for everything from .223 to 300 Weatherby Magnum.

I use Nightforce ultralights to switch my scope around and don’t have a problem with repeatability. Just set my zero back to where it was and it’s always on. I’m sure any decent scope rings could do the same. Seekins/vortex pmr rights are budget friendly

Not sure what your definition of budget friendly means but I’ve slowly been moving everything over to ARC’s M10 rings and have been extremely happy with them. You can usually find a set on the PX for $120-135.

When you wrote "300 Weatherby Magnum" you bumped out of the affordable class. Heavy recoil requires solid rings. Constant moving from rifle to rifle requires excellent workmanship. Neither of those qualities are cheap.

Having said that I've had excellent results with Vortex PMR's, American Rifle M10's, and Nightforce XTRM's. All are good, solid rings that will handle recoil and repeated moves.

You will get plenty of sound advice here. Read, do research and don't try to cheap out, you'll get what you need. Good luck, stay safe. C.S.

Thanks I should have been more specific on price. I would like to stay around $100 if I can. I’ve always ran Leupold rings on my hunting rifles. But I wasn’t sure about swapping those from rifle to rifle. 95%!of the time I’ll be loading for.223/.556, .243 win, 300BLK, 6.5 cm .and 308 win. I do have a few Mags in the safe I might load for but sadly since my last back surgery I mostly leave the stompers in the safe.

I have had good luck with Leupold prw2 rings. They are not tacticool, bit they have worked well for me on multiple rifles. Also can't go wrong with seekins, just more money.
I’ve always ran Leupold and some old red field rings on my hunting rifles and never had an issue. Just new to 30mm and planning on moving from rifle to rifle is a new one for me also.

I have a 300 WBY Mag and my Leupold QD return to zero every time. Like mentioned before might not be as tacticool as a one piece but they work all the time.
