Best 7mm-.08 factory match ammo?

Just bought a Savage in 7mm-08.
I'm planning on re-barreling with a bull/varmint contour- but figured I'd see how this factory barrel shoots first...maybe I'll get lucky??

I handload, but wanted to run some factory ammo through just to check it out. Don't know the twist rate as I haven't picked it up yet to measure...but it's a 20" barrel.

Wish Federal made Gold Match for this...any equivalent?

Pretty sure they dont make any match ammo for the 708, the twist should be right around 9 1/4". My 700 shoots 150MKs and 150NBTs like this.

Wonder why that is (no match ammo)....

The 7mm-.08 has very capable long range ballistics, and there's plenty of commercial ammo. I want to do something a bit different than the vanilla .308 for long range target.

Maybe it's still primarily considered a hunting round?

Mine shoots Fed 140 NBT's really well.
