i had the exact model but it had a canted reticleLeupold VX 5HD 3-15X44 HTMR. Only scope in that line that is in mils. Might be slightly over 1k, and it's SFP. So may not be what you are looking for.
Been reliable for me though. But only shot out to 380 with it a few times with a 300WSM.
Came here to recommend this as well. The Bushnell LRHS2 that GA Precision has coming in soon would be my vote. There's already a thread or two on here about them, and they're going to be a screaming deal at the price GAP is asking.
I would love to find one for that price but they sell for 1600 and don’t go out used very much from what I seeCan't you get the nxs sfp 2.5-10 for around 1k? Those are neat little scopes.
You can find them for around $1300, with time and patienceCan't you get the nxs sfp 2.5-10 well used for around 1k? Those are neat little scopes.
That’s one of the scopes I’m now looking at ... will I run into issues out to 500 yards with it not having adjustable parallax ?Nightforce SHV eats Vortex LHT for breakfast and Athlon for Lunch..

Not unless your shooting small steel. Even at 500 the lack of parallax won't be much poi shift worth mentioning. Beyond that you will see increases in your groups manifest incrementallyThat’s one of the scopes I’m now looking at ... will I run into issues out to 500 yards with it not having adjustable parallax ?
Okay thanks .... just was curious since this rifle is capable of half moa or sub half .... don’t wanna have it effect it to muchNot unless your shooting small steel. 25 ounces of pure goodness... @lancetkenyonFind a Premier Reticle Light Tactical scope on the hide here (with Mil or MOA turrets) and you will be GTG. You will not be disappointed.
Another vote for the Razor LHT 3-15 x 42 MSR 5i reticle. Light, locking elev turret, very good parallax adj, & great glass.
Only had mine out to 400, but that was on a 22lr.
I am glad to see that coming from someone like you. I loved my SHV F1 for the price I bought it at, but there were better values when it came out. Now in 2021??? lol.It is indeed an excellent $500 scope that people spend close to $1k on...

I wouldn't mind seeing the SHV line get some love to be more inline with the NX8, but with the more traditional 4x or 5x erector sets.

Yep, run one on my deer gun and I'm very happy with it. Surprisingly bright at dusk, IMO.Pst g2 3-15?
But you need a thicker reticle than what comes on a LRTS. Been there, tried that and sent it back. You don't need an illuminated reticle to hunt.
G2H on a LRHS is quite a bit thicker than the g3 on a LRTS.But you need a thicker reticle than what comes on a LRTS. Been there, tried that and sent it back.
