Best brace for mp5?

Depends if you want a side folder or a slider. I like the SBT5KA side folder because it is sturdy, folds smooth and provides good purchase for {cheek weld} The sliders make the firearm more compact but in my opinion are less sturdy.

Thats exactly what I use on my PTR Hk Clone. I am fortunate to get to shoot the real thing several time a year and I can't tell the difference. In fact I think it may be better. The SB is actually a 2 position slider. The HK slider is either all the way in or out. No in-between. The only thing you may not like with the slider is that you really can never get that perfect cheek weld. I have no problem with it and shoot it very accurately . Best of luck ! Any questions please pm me.....

Mine had a deal where the SBT5A came free with my purchase. It was ok and all but with previous experience using the A2 stock, I was a little, unimpressed. The SB brace was tight to put on and get off. Had to use a block of wood and hammer to get it off, and it was only slightly easier going on. I thought maybe when my receiver was bent, it wasn’t exactly right. I did an eform 1 and 30 days later was approved. I went to put the A2 on it went on easy and everything lined up perfect, it wasn’t the receiver, it was the SB brace mount that was too tight. If you get one, you may have to sand the inside down a bit if you want the easy on/off.

That is really common for the braces. A lot o the non contract clones don't have the correct dimension receiver so its a way to ensure it can fit them all. I had to Dremel some high spots on both braces to get them to fit my Zenith guns. Not a big deal in the scheme of things.

I’m confused, it’s an MP5, what do you need a brace for? And it’s not like to have recoil or anything like that... even on full auto you just slightly lean into the target.
