Best bullet form factor?

Just wondering what is the best form factor bullet available right now in the common cals, 22, 6, 25 and 6.5. Berger is about the only place I know that publishes their form factors. It looks like their 25 cal 135gr LR Hybrid has the lowest form factor (0.876) of ALL Berger bullets until you get to a 379 gr .375 cal monster.

I have the Applied Ballistics app, but I don’t see form factor listed in their bullet library. Are any of the A-tips or Match Burners lower than 0.876?

any reason why?

if a certain caliber is "better" than another caliber...if you dont want to shoot the "better caliber" than it doesnt matter

or are you trying to design your own bullet and want to start with the best "on the market"

It’s just a great way to compare bullets regardless of weight. Also, if you’re on the fence between say, 6 Creed and 25 Creed, this a good way to decide how the bullet selection compares between the two.

makes sense for playing around on the couch, but if pure theoretical performance is what your looking for youll need to look at the solids/mono bullets

as you know there is a lot more than just form factor/bc when choosing a caliber

Of course there’s a lot more that goes into it, but why would I ask “which cartridge is the best?” On here. 50 replies later and we’d have 48 different answers. I value downrange wind performance, barrel life, bullet energy for impact splash, ”reload-ability” which is my own subjective criteria, ease of finding components, cost of components, ease of finding prefit barrels, recoil…. But I’m just asking for help finding specific information about bullet form factor in PRS related calibers.
