Rifle Scopes Best choice for optic too many options help

For a 18” 223 ar build for targets and coyotes Looking for 18x-20x or higher. Would love 3x-4x on the bottom. Don’t want a Hubble size optic. Wanting 44mm-50mm with a budget of around 1k

I have looked at the Leupold 3-18x44 and the Zeiss v6 line. But don’t have any experience with those.

Need input with best options

Actually, with the 1k budget, the gen 2 razor might be found out of your budget.

Tango 6 can be found for about $1,100.00.

You could pick up a Burris XTRii 4-20 or a viper PST gen 2 in that price range. For a little more money a Tract Toric 4-20 is an awesome optic. I also saw Cameraland was running specials on a bunch of Steiner scopes. With the demo discount that could potentially put some of those in your price range that would otherwise be out of your budget. I would give Doug a call and see what he has available in your budget. You might be surprised at what you can get.

If it were me, I would call @gr8fuldoug regarding the Steiner P4Xi, as he has a great deal on them right now. The caveat is that the Steiner only goes to 16x on the top end, but he also has other options that would cover your needs. Just my .02

There is an LRTSi 4.5-18 in the px right now. Great scope. IMO is one of the best values in that price range.

I've got an Eotech Vudu for sale right now. 3.5-18x50

Pull the sunshade and its no hubble and has great glass. 33oz (not sure what you are considering "light")
Just used it in a match last weekend and it worked great. The reticle for PRS is a tad thick but would be perfect for hunting.

Another option is the Vortex PST G2. I'm not sure 100% on their price and features but they seem to be pretty good optically for the cost (just from being behind them briefly at matches)
