Thats it people, all your remingtons, savages etc are just tricked up hunting rifles, you want a sniper rifle buy 1, dont buy a deer shooting rifle pretending to be the real McCoy

If you are talking about the best precision/tactical .308 then as much as I love them, Remington is off the table. Savage is gone too. They make a great rifle, but they are not even close to "best" until you put a budget on it.

When you slide up to the top of the factory ladder, then it gets very hard demonstrate a solid winner.
