Looking for flip caps for zco 527. I really like the ones for my kahles that thread on the front and have a screw clamp on the ocular. I'm not sure how that ocular on the zco handles a flip cap or how tenebrex or adamount caps attach on the ocular or the front. Would love some recs so I don't waste my money on something I won't want.

    Thanks

The aadland caps are press fit with a screw to tighten. They lie flat. IMHO, the best caps you can buy.

    I haven't seen a 2" sunshade for em, I guess they only make a 3"?
That's what I have... also. I like the tennebrex ones because they're easy to remove. The ocular cap is a bitch to get on and remove with the AADland, at least the three sets I've had were. You have to beat them on even with the screw loosened up all the way.

I like to use these Vinyl Caps for the Ocular end tied to the mount or gun with paracord. That way the Ocular end is protected and you can just easily flip them off when your ready to shoot and don’t have a bulky cumbersome flip cap to get it your way.

and AADLAND’s for the Objective end…Their really good for my uses.

Tenebraex for sure over Aadland IMO. I own both and prefer fit finish of Tenebraex, especially not having it look like a Butler Creek over the bell add on. Also, ARD from ZCO works w/ them and shorter than sunshade.

Are there any that thread on and will thread on a sunshade for the zco? I really prefer that. I could deal with the tenebrex for the ocular I think. I'm not crazy about the butler creek flip button thing. I turn my caps at a 45 to the elevation turret so they are out of the way when I look over the top of the scope.

    Aadland all day
I have Aadland on my Schmidt and Bender and Tenebraex on my Nightforce. I prefer the Aadland. They just feel better quality and they lay flat. I have never had one inadvertently open either. Haven’t had the Nightforce as long so I can’t speak to that. I also haven’t removed Aadland since installation so I can’t speak to how easy they are to remove but haven’t found a reason to remove them either

If by adapter ring you mean the piece that threads into the objective bell or sunshade, yeah most if not all of them will have that as the ring is dimpled allowing the cap to be rotated into different spots. The cap doesn't thread into the ZCO sunshade or anything. The adapter ring does and then the cap pops on.

    Pictured below:

I was hoping to the find the ARD , and front and rear cap somewhere and get a coupon code or something. Any go to place to get them for zco? I'm assuming the ARD is like 2" or so long?

@CSTactical would be a good start
I tried there first but it was showing up weird on my phone and I couldn't see if what I had selected was right or not. I have it in my cart now though correctly. Do they have a hide Code? I've bought from them several times but I can't remember if they had a hide code

I can guarantee that your tenebraex caps will open inadvertently and spin when you don't want to. I have literally had 8 sets of them until I discovered aadland. Plus they don't lie flat. If you're not a competitive shooter it really doesn't matter but aadlands are superior in every way IMHO.

Just PM them or call them tomorrow. They will get you squared away. Rick is very responsive on here.
Yeah I will send him a pm and then he can respond tomorrow. Otherwise I will forget until after hours and be right back where I am now. I try to buy from hide supporters but need a coupon to get the price the same as another place.

The price was inadvertently listed too high so I adjusted it back to what it was supposed to be :)
