Hi everyone...I new to the PR world and have a Bushnell hdmr 2 and hate the bikini cover. I’m looking for a pair of flip up covers and not a fan of the rubber slip on. So I’m asking for some help on what I should get...thanks!

They stay on. Are hard to break (free replacements) and flip to parallel with scope so they dont obstruct visionI have been happy with the vortex defender caps. Not sure what makes the others so special but I have no complaints with the vortex caps for my uses.
I agree on both of these, they are both very good.Tenebraex or Aadland.
The Defenders are covered if they break and also flip to parallel with the scope. I've personally had great luck with them staying on as well, but will concede there are probably better options. They stay on. one flips right to parallel with scope, other has detents and requires more work. minamal effort but still a differenceThe Defenders are covered if they break and also flip to parallel with the scope. 2/3 of your reasoning doesn't hold water though IMO.
Fair enough. Can the AADs stay at 180 though? I use a homemade dope disk in my cap that I sometimes like to leave exposed off to the left side (I rotate the cap -90 on the install to flip left). Sounds like that wouldn't be an option, right?one flips right to parallel with scope, other has detents and requires more work. minamal effort but still a difference
