Best Gunsafe Dessicant?

Re: Best Gunsafe Dessicant?

The golden rods work super well- I know that's not what you want to hear-but if you own your home, and the safe is where it is going to stay-have an outlet installed-you'll be much happier about it over the years.

Golden Rod and never have to worry about it again. It's not that big a deal to have a outlet installed near it. If running the wires under the floor is a problem, then hang it from the ceiling.

i got several safes ....and have used bags in 'em for at least 20 years....took 'em out once ...maybe at the turn of the century to warm them up and dry them out....but they been doing yeoman's service forever.....they are truly fire and forget.

Just plug them in to recharge every few weeks. They work great. </div></div>

I use the Remington version of these and they work great as well.
