I just put a 12 port tunable break on an ar-10 made by AR Performance. I like it better than the PWS fsc 30 which I have used as well. It has less recoil and more muzzle control. The thing shoots like a .223 or better. I have yet to play with the tunable ports though.
When ordering you have to write what threading and size bullet you are shooting. They will make it to fit.

I like the SureFire brake systems. And they are suppressor compatible. All the guys here run them on their OBRs with great success.
I also shot one on a Noveske 14.5" 7.62x51 and it greatly reduced recoil.

I have a PWS on my AR10 and off the bipod, followup shot are real easy and super fast, you pretty much spot yourself from 200yds and up.

Also +1 on the PWS and Surefire brakes. Used both and they are very effective. That being said, I don't have much to compare them to on a .308 semi; A2 flashhider and a stock M14 fh is about all I can compare them with.

I have a PWS 30 brake on my bullpup Keltec RFB 308. I thought the brake would be unbearable considering the porting, but it's not bad at all.
Here's a video clip of my boss using it. This was his first time shooting a 308, so it really demonstrates how easy the brake/recoil is on the shooter. Don't mind his problems shooting - I didn't realize he was using his left eye as a right handed shooter. We've since corrected that problem.

"When you're pig huntin' and you get 3 of them runnin' together you shoot the one in the front then transition to the 2nd & 3rd. From there you swing back to the first one for the kill shot as he'll be likely gettin' up tryin' to crawl away and you can get the kill shot before he hits the ground".

Surefire brake or GA Precision Titan? Has anybody used the GA Precision Titan yet? They are building a .308 for me, just wondering what is the best brake out there?
