Best place to buy a AI AICS Stock

Can anyone tell me where the best place to buy a Accuracy International AICS is? Price? Best people? I'm sure there is someone on here selling them.

Also, which one would YOU recommend, the 1.5 or the 2.0?

I purchased my 1.5 from Midway and used the discount codes use see here in one of the forums. Saved $100 but it worked to be about the same price as some of the other vendors. I like the quick shipping turnaround and status reports that Midway provides: "We have processed your order", "it's on the truck", "it has shipped and here's the tracking info" . I have never had to call them about anything.

I'm not saying Midway is the best because I haven't purchased from all of the other vendors here on the hide but I definitely appreciate their online order system... it saves all of your info so that subsequent orders take like one minute.

I found the best price to be Midway with the promo codes. When I ordered I think they were running $50 off $500 and free shipping.

btw, have AICS prices gone up? I don't remember the 1.5 being $839 on midway but I could be wrong.

You might try running a search on both questions (1.5 vs. 2.0 chassis and where are the best places to buy). On average, this topic comes up very frequently.

Also, remember that with MidwayUSA...you can use discount codes to get better pricing (particularly on items as expensive as the chassis systems). Keep an eye on the sticky thread for codes as occassionally, as $100 off a $1,000 order (or similar code) will pop up and really lower the price on the AICS. Same for $50 off $500. Those codes usually get the price at or below the other sellers (unless you buy one used from here on the Hide). Don't forget to figure if the seller includes S&H because Midways charges (likely $25 or so) for shipping whereas many other sellers provide free ground with a certain level of purchase.

Unless you want a smaller package for transport, just get the 1.5. No point in paying extra for a feature you won't use.

I bought my 2.0 from EuroOptics a few years ago. If you are going to travel with it, don't under estimate the savings in size and weight by being able to go with a shorter Pelican Case if you get the folding stock.
