Night Vision Best Place to Purchase Pulsar Trail XP50?

Optics Planet (OP) shows $2,500 and if you call them on the phone and say "I will buy today for $2,250" ... their standard 10% discount they give everyone ... you should get it ... and if they do not say "yes" ... then just say "thanks I will think about it" ... :)

(you can't negotiate, if you can't walk away) ... but $2,300 versus $2,250 ?? And what about the shipping ? And what about the lead time? If the $2,300 price if from someone who REALLY has it in stock, then that might be better. OP is known for saying they have something in stock, but they do not.

Wig is correct.. Optic Planet is notorious for baiting a would be buyer by seemingly
appearing to have an item at a fair price.. and then not have it in stock at all.

But... that being said.. if they had Xp50s offered for 2500$ .. i'd endure the wait! ?

I'd say pulsar's have held their value pretty darn well ... and I think that's because a lot of hunters use them and really don't need to higher end solutions. Pulsars get the job done for the night hunters and they value them. Even the older Apex still have a market within the night hunters. Because they still get the job done. The price might sink a little when new stuff comes out, but their is a lot of "support" in the market as well, ,due to the night hunters. And often they want a second or third one for "loaners" after getting their first one. :)

Could be, but night hunters are not buying thermals to salvage the germanium glass :) Maybe somebody will ... but not night hunters !
