Does anyone have recommendations on the best QD rings who's height is around .90"?

I did a quick search and it seems LaRue might have the best QD rings, but not at the height I'm trying to get. Warne and ARMs have rings around that height, but I haven't been impressed with other products from these two companies. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

It looks like Talley rings are around the right height and price range. Going to do a search on them. Any input is appreciated.

Are you sure about LaRue? I have a set of LT-719s and believe them to be around 0.87".

Re: Best QD rings around .90"

I'm not sure which spec. It will be going on an ARMs #18 split rail mount.

I just called LaRue and the LT-719s are .875, which MIGHT work. They might be a tad low too. I just hate to spend $200 and find out they don't work and not be able to return them. I've had that issue with some companies not accepting returns as soon as the ring touches the base.

Once I get my mount, I will try my Burris Signature Zees (.900) and see how much clearance I have left.

What do you think of the Larue's? I care more about them holding zero while one the rifle than returning to zero after being taken off and put back on. What are your experiences with either? Thanks.

If you don't actually need to remove the scope, then I would first recommend forgetting about QD rings.

If you must go QD, then LaRue is usually the best answer. Despite the owner being a fanatical egomaniac, their products are second to none, both on and off the rifle.

As for LaRue's warranty . . . read it on the website. If you ain't happy, they'll take 'em back for a full refund. No questions asked.

Re: Best QD rings around .90"

I will be removing the scope often. However when remounting it I will have a chance to rezero so return to zero is not a huge deal.

Will LaRue take a return because I ordered the wrong size?

Thanks again.

Re: Best QD rings around .90"

Larue's testing claims less than a 1/4 MOA shift after removal, but I'd probably check my zero as well.

I went to their website and read the fine print . It's not as great a return policy as I originally thought. It appears that if you accidentally hit their products with a hammer, you're good, but if you actually use their products, then no dice.

. . .Just return any new unused item to us within 15 days from the date delivered to you. Include a copy of your receipt and we will issue a refund, it's that simple. . . And once you mount a scope it becomes "used product" and used products are not eligible for refund, exchange, or return (placing the scope in rings constitutes mounting). So remember, when you mount it in rings, it's yours.
