Best Scope for $700ish?

Just bought a Rem 700 30-06 new for $600. Decided to just get it since my other 700 is in pieces waiting to be built and hunting season is passing me by!!!!
This is sort of my budget/ truck gun to get me by until I finish my other build.
Do not need any Nightforce or Schmidt and Bender on here but I would like quality glass to maybe get to out to 1k and take any deer or elk or coyote.
Is SWFA a good choice? I am trying to sell my Savage 17 hmr and my Magpul PRS stock for some extra change... so a quality scope for $700 MAYBE $800 will do me fine.
MIL or MOA does not matter much. I just need it to be MIL/MIL or MOA/MOA.

I really like the Vortex Viper PST or the HS-T lines of scopes. I paid $700 for my PST 4-16 SFP Mil/Mil scope. Best money I spent in that price range for a scope.

Agreed. For a mere $50 more, you can get a Vortex 6-24x50 PST. Vortex scopes are easily the best buy in the industry.

Personally, if I had to stay in the 700 range I would look into Bushnell. All kinds of options. Are you wanting true hunting type scope? If so the Bushnell ELITE 4200 or 6500 are good scopes and I've had only the best from holding zero and tracking. I own a few fixed 10's in Bushy and SWFA. THey have worked great too.

Love the 6-24 PST on my '06 but she will be getting a Razor soon. Nothing wrong with the SS either it's just that I'm a MOA guy so the SS are a no go for me...
