Rifle Scopes Best scope for 7mmSTW for $2000

I have a custom built 7mm STW from Robert Gradous. I need a good tactical scope for it. I will hunt with this and shoot from ranges of 50 yards out to 1 mile. I want a scope that has the best glass for my budget and i like the Zero Stop option. i think it will be helpful when i hunt or is it really that great of an accessory? My budget is $2000. I am looking for what scope yall think is the best for my needs.

is weight a consideration? the first thing that came to my mind was a nightforce nxs 5.5-22x56, or a vortex razor if you want ffp

no the gun is already 10 lbs so whats another 2-3lbs. Which reticle? MLR with .mil rad?

I can't go against NF but like jay said above, if you want ffp, go with the RAZOR. Also Jay is an excellent guy to go through.

Where are you located, SS?

I have a razor and absolute love it.... But it is my first and only "high end" scope so I have nothing to compare it to long term. I have looked through several nightforces and leupolds and believe the razor is the best value out there.

So razor or nxs? Is the zero stop good to have when dialing in-in the dark in a deer stand? Either early morning or sunset when visibility is low and can't see the lines I'd figure it's easier to just have em.

Ive looked through my buddies GAP and i didnt really like it. it seemed like it was cheap no offense to those who own them just my opinion

i`ve had both the nxs, and the razor, my pick would have to be the razor hd, got the ebr-2b reticle, very nice!

I just bought another 3-15 Premier used here on the Hide right at your price point. That could be another option. If you want to get something new I would look at the Razor.

I would go with the Razor. The only scopes, in my opinion, that have glass that is better is the S&B and the Hensholdt. I had the chance to look through just about every scope made at the NRA show and I still feel like I made the best decision.

Im looking at a nightforce nxs 5.5-22x56mm MLR .1MILRAD scope $1800 with nightforce rings and base. Yall think this sounds good?

If it were me I'd save my money a little longer until I could afford a used S&B or Hensoldt.

Just my opinion, maybe I should "save It"

I've bought four Nightforce scopes from the guys at Sportoptics. They are local for me. Best thing to do is to call them. Chris and/or Jay.
