I thought it would be cool to see your favorite trophies from the last deacade (2000-2009). Here is mine:
This pic was in my dad's back yard.

This pic was in the field.

Haven't had him scored yet but the estimates are in the 146-150 range. Main-frame 8 with kickers off the G2's and a 19" inside spread. 152 lbs. dressed. Got him with the trusty ol' Marlin 30-30 and a 170 gr. Winchester CXP.

My buddy Mark from Pennsylvania...this 7X6 was the first bull he ever saw in the wild!!

Friend Ray also from PA.....passed away only afew short years after this...really good guy. Miss him.

Outdoor Writer, Steve Timm from Oregon with a nice antelope we got together a few years back..

I cant leave this out....One of my best friends, Al Klassen from Whitehorse, Yukon with his Great bull elk from last fall. This bull was the largest elk killed in North America last year.

My pard Owen with a good buck we got up here on my turf a few years ago..420 yard shot with his 7MM STW.

Another good friend, Don from Iowa with his Boone& Crockett elk taken in 2007....We scratched out the score on that piece of sand rock!!

Top pic..A good friend from Maryland came out we got this P&Y antelope on a water hole.

One of my best friends son with his first antelope...we layed in the sagebrush for 2 or 3 hours waitng for him to stand up...80+ B&C..

My area does not have great genetics or a large population so we have to be careful not to over harvest them.

Another great friend of mine who recently passed away....this was his first and only elk. Man was he excited when we walked up on him!!

My good pard from Iowa, Nick Ackerman. This guy Loves hunting as much as anyone I've ever known. With his first buck antelope we stalked up on a couple years ago. He's a member here, acks280ack. Nick was quite a wrestler in college, sharing the Hodge Trophy with Cael Sanderson,his senoir year. The Hodge Trophy is college wrestling's top award and is the equivalent of the Heisman trophy in college football. When he's not out hunting or shooting his longrange rifles you'll find him working out with MMA fighters in Davenport, Iowa.

He's probably going to kick my ass when he sees this....grin!

Greg, That was the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness, north of Yellowstone Park. September, 2006.

The fruits of our labor from that very hunt.....grilling Sheep backstraps that night...

Pete from New Mexico came all the way to Montana to hunt mule deer bucks in the rut. He shot this nice buck with his .270 Weatherby Magnum.

ath23, All of my outfitting and guiding is here in Montana. I've been pretty lucky to have been able to hunt in most of the western states and Alaska and Canada as well.
