Best way to attach a Harris Bipod to MPA chassis?

When I had the MPA Lite, I also sprung for the picatinny spigot (the one that comes out the front of the forearm, under the barrel). I did have a picatinny adapter on my Harris. Not the simplest setup, but it worked. I also liked how it pushed the bipod mounting spot out further towards the muzzle.

bbowles yes I only ran it for a short time but it was great. I switched over to a Manners traditional stock as it is what I am used to. I can definitely see myself going with a chassis in the future again though, you just can't beat the modularity, price, or performance. I'm actually planning on putting together an MPA chassis-based backup/spare rifle shortly.

I am trying to figure out the same thing! I just picked up an MPA competition chassis, it comes with rails and such but I'd like the little nipple a Harris usually attaches to. I like the ability to quick disconnect the bipod, for the moment I'll probably use one of my accushot bipods but for doing comp work I like the Harris better. There's the badger low profile module that replaces the cant module, it attaches via hex screws but you would need to have a tool to remove it. ADM has a QD module that attaches between the nipple connector on the Harris and a pic rail, but it adds a lot of space between the bipod and a rail.

For quite a few years now, my favorite adapter to mount a Harris on a picatinny rail is the GG&G QD bipod adapter. It is solid and has never loosened on me, it takes seconds to remove the bipod and replace it with something else or to use it on another rifle, and it is low profile, only adding 3/8" to the height of the bipod. Price isn't bad either at around $65-70. If you don't need the QD feature, they make one that attaches via a cross-bolt too for $25
