The Croc!



Taken last week at Borroloola (NT, Australia ). It measured 6.325 meters and weighed in at 1855 kilos. That's a big lizard! It started annoying one of the local Barramundi fisherman by eating the prop off his outboard. He reckons it was circling the 5 metre tinny (boat) for 20 minutes before the decision to kill it was made by him and a very frightened decky.

You've got to hand it to people in Australia. Nine of the ten deadliest snakes, crocs that frickin' big, and great whites circling all their favorite beaches. You'd have to assume that any family that's been there a while must have a fairly strong gene pool to have survived that long. Man, that's an epic croc for sure.

Hope the guy who killed it doesnt get into trouble. If my memory serves me right, crocs are protected in Australia. Only people allowed to kill them are Wildlife rangers and Aboriginals...

Many years ago I went croc Hunting with some aboriginals... Swear to god them guys are the best hunters I have ever met.Much to the amusement of the guys I was with I ran like a bitch when one of them suckers came near me...

all I know is that is about 20 ft and almost 4000 lbs?

Would have made that decision in about 20 seconds not 20 minutes!
