Here are some details on the next Long Range Rifle match we are having at the Big Sandy Range near Wikieup, AZ.
May 13th, 2017 8:00 Day Shoot
$25 match fee
50 Rifle Rounds
Please RSVP, even if you think you might come, though you do not have to RSVP to shoot the match.
- Sign in by 7:45 am, safety briefing at 7:45 am.
- Zero range open from 7:30 am till 7:45 am.
- Know your drop from 100 to 1200 yards.
- Nothing larger than a 300wm and keep the speed under 3200 fps.
- Target distances will be provided.
- Bring a pair of binoculars or a spotting scope, or both.
- You will need to carry your rifle and other gear from stage to stage, so a backpack is best, though we won't be hiking away from the vehicles very far.
- A bipod, rear bags and bags for support are suggested.
- We are not looking to create a gear race, if a stage requires a tripod or shooting sticks, they will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.
- Bring snacks and water.
- Porta-potties are onsite
- Please let us know if you plan to camp at the range Friday night
