Bighorn Action Next Gen!!!

As some of you may know, I am a huge fan of the Bighorn actions. Well I got my hands on one of the latest versions. As always this thing is a work of art. The pictured don't do it justice. These actions even shoot better then they look. With the floating bolt head, and the rest of the work that AJ has put into these. They run smooth as glass. This is a short action Mag bolt face, lighter weight sporter version. The built in .250 recoil lug gives a much longer barrel tennon and consequently more barrel engagement, you also get a one peace bolt handle.

The SR-2 have been out since the first of the year?

I just picked up a TL2 with a trim rear tang for a build I got going on with Jon Beanland.... needless to say I'm pretty excited about this build! I spoke with AJ and was very impressed with his customer service (I bought a TL2 from BJ at third generation shooting supply and it originally had the fat rear tang, which I don't care for.... anyways, AJ modified my action literally in 2 DAYS and sent it down to Jon so my build could continue!). Needless to say I've been very impressed with BJ @3rd gen, AJ @ bighorn and Jon Beanland, all standup guys in my book.

AJ is doing a great job of making a super competitive action. They are hard to beat and the finish is great. I would never hesitate to use a Bighorn action on any build.
