what's the deal with left handed ejection?
I like it for a couple of reasons -

Line of sight. I can easily see into my action if need be without coming completely off my rifle to clear malfunctions should they arise.

Throws brass to the left of you. Personal preference at this point, but I tend to shoot barricades from left to right. Someone can police my brass as I shoot if need be, without interfering with my stage.

I’ll chime in on the left port right bolt thing. In 2001, I bought a used R93 that came with two barrels and both right and left bolt assemblies; likely a demo package at some point. I use to put the left eject bolt head in the right hand bolt for bench testing loads because I could catch the brass with my left hand. It was actually quite handy and if this was a Origin action, I would be all over buying it as I am in the market for one, but I just don’t have the funds for a TL3.
