We use these bolt on or drop on bolt knob extension handles from 3D Billet Products for our Remington 700s and they work great and are really easy to install... They are billet aluminum and bolt right on with no modifications... No cutting or tapping or welding is necessary! It keeps your rifle factory stock and looks great and improves the clearance of your hand from the body of your scope, plus it greatly increases the feel and functionality of the weapons action.
I would definitely recommend trying one if you have not already customized your bolt action lever knob and the price is not bad compared to similar ones that are made of plastic. I hope they make them for different models some day because I need one for my Savage next.
