It does not look like you are getting much help.

I dont not know about those optics on eBay, I would steal clear. Celestron makes a 20x pair of binoculars under the sky master brand. They do not look anything like the link on eBay, maybe a foreign knock off.

If you go with the celestrons for around $100 it will get the job done, just don’t expect miracles. When I first started shooting long range in the mid 2000s my first optics, binos and spotter, were celestron. While they did the job, it was no where near the quality of the kowa, sworvski, Leica or Zeiss folks were using at the time. I used them for a couple of years and then upgraded to the vortex kaibab 15x binoculars.

Give the celestron a shot as you will not have much on the line if anything goes wrong or you hate them.

Good luck

Thanks Lando.

Although im planning on a range finder I am willing to pay a bit more for a ranging reticle in the binos or regular spotter. Mil surplus stuff seems a bit high but obviously will do the job...

my scope is 10x so I would like something with a higher magnification so I can see what I can’t see with the scope.

Ill keep looking I guess.
