I currently have a Harris swivel bipod and looking for an adapter that I will be able to mount to pic rail. Have done some looking and all I can find is arca adapters! Thanks

I've been using the KAC bipod mounts for like twenty years and never had one fail... Used to use 'em as sling mounts back in the day too. They don't break or come undone or whatever. Not cheap though, and there IS one out there that is damn near identical for about half the price but I simply cannot recall who makes it.

But there are millions of options and I suppose most are as good as the next.

The AMD looks like a great option. Comes with a AMD quick detach and looks like one solid piece.

I second this option for pic rail mounting. The ADM is great!

The adm is excellent but I would go with the RRS which can accommodate both picatinny and arca. https://soar.reallyrightstuff.com/HC-Pro-Clamp-for-Harris-Bipod
They raised the price 10 bucks since I bought mine for 80 so its now 20 dollars more expensive than the adm but eventually you will get a chassis with an arca rail so just get the rrs now instead of buying a second later. It has the added benefit of not needing the legs deployed or canted to one side to operate unlike the adm where the lever can get blocked by the leg spring. mount wing thing.

On mine the lever went towards the rear and not to the front like this so maybe my interference issue was self induced. Ill have to look at it again this weekend and see.

I am having some serious order envy now since I purchased an Area 419 arca clamp adaptor for my Atlas bipod. It's a nice piece of kit, but I no sooner got it and wished it had the ability to do pic rail as well, which this does. I have a Harris bipod also and you just made me spend an extra $90.

I'll second the recommendation for the RRS arca/pic adapter. I have it on 2 different Harris bipods (and the RRS throw lever adapter on my Ckye-pod) and my bipods can all work on either pic or arca which effectively covers every rifle I own.

i have ADMs on my CAL and HBRMS. They are the only way to go, if you don’t do the Arca rail stuff. I also like the LaRue HBRMS Mount it those aren’t sold individually. I snagged one from another member and it was great but eventually sold that bipod (didn’t need it).

FYI the new style ADM that comes on the CAL is fuckin tits. Way better than the original flat face lever.

But that’s not actually harris proper, just someone trying to make it seem like they are and those are as much as an adaptor from adm or rrs who aren’t trying to deceive you.

Really. I didn’t know that. Typed in Harris Bipod adaptors and that’s what popped up. I stand corrected.

An RRS Harris adaptor is on the way to me now. I have no doubt it will be fantastic, and I have a feeling an Atlas Area 419 adaptor will soon be listed for sale and replaced with another RRS.

I also really like the Midwest Industries mount. I like the location of the lever lock better than the ADM, although both mounts are nice. I have had the MI bipod adapter on my PRS rifle for 4 years with no issues.
The Midwest Industries one I see mounts between the QD on the stock and the Harris QD mount/plate. Do they make one that replaces the Harris QD/plate mount with one solid piece like the ADM and the RRS?

Just a quick review - I received the Harris Bipod Arca/Pic adapter clamp last week and took it to the range the following day. It is well built and the fit and finish is second to none. With the Harris, the new style nob does lightly brush against the legs when they are stowed, but it wasn't a big deal. The rig also functioned flawlessly on a pic rail.
As stated previously, I'll soon be posting my Area 419 Atlas arca clamp for sale and getting an RRS for my Atlas.

Which bipod are you using? I use Evo (tier one/osprey rifles) and had a similar problem. They make a quick disconnect adapter for Picatinny that I use now but yeah it is a bipod specific solution.

I was using the Harris HBRMS (the "standard" 6-9" with the swivel feature).
My Atlas is the BT65-NC, 4.75-9" with no attachment device, so I need an Arca clamp or a Pic clamp adapter.
