It will streamline the feedback if you provide a wee bit more info like type of rifle and what purpose it will be used for. IMHO
Right now I’ve noticed the atlas cal or super cal be more beneficial over the ckyepod at 6 matches this year. And now you have to buy a lever to adjust the cant, makes it less appealing to me. Atlas Cal BT65 for the win
I also had a Ckye pod and though it was pretty cool, but like above, just used it like a regular bipod and as a regular bipod I felt the atlas cal was more stable. I sold the ckye off.
What are you wanting to improve on that your Harris and atlas don’t provide?
For how much you will spend on a Ckyepod vs. how much you will actually use the features that it has over an Atlas/Harris.... get whatever is cheapest.
The lone scenario in which I would say a Ckyepod is beneficial is field matches. If you’re shooting out west/wide open field matches, it’s definitely nice to have the ability to go as high or as low are you need, etc.
For square range matches, they are pretty much pointless and offer no benefit over your standard bipods. Majority of guys worth their weight in bullets just use a bag...
In order of favourite to least favourite.
Sold all of them and just running with the ckyepod. Will buy a double or triple ckyepod for prs and run the standard for hunting.
If you only ever shoot on a flat range then go the CAL GEN2. Otherwise the ckyepod is better in my opinion.

Nice work on the adapter. I own a tier-one tactical bipod, would you be willing to make another mlok adapter and sell it to me?Direct mlok adapter I made myself. My qd picatinny mount broke and tier one didn’t give a shit so I told them to stick it and made my own and improved the design so I could use the bipod. Better, lighter etc.

I appreciate it, but don’t think I could lol. I might purchase something and if the sale comes back on I can rotate some bipods. I technically could get 2. Thank youMdt had a crazy sale on all their equipment, including the ckye pod on black friday. Not sure if you wanna wait that long though.
I currently have an atlas and a couple Harris’s. Was thinking of trying a cyke-pod? Any recommendations?
Thank you for your patronage! Not sure what Atlas you have but the CAL is different than the V8 or PSR models in that it is CANT only and really low profile when stowed. As far a matches go, hate to say it but you'll use a bag for front support more than a bipod from what I've seen.
i have a v8 model actually. I’m assuming with it being CANT only it makes it a bit more stable and probably faster recovery?
Again, Thank you! The V8 has evolved a ton but the PSR model even more so. All of these improvements were pushed to the CAL and we eliminated the PAN so yes, it would seem more "stable" as there's one less axis of movement (please note having solid PAN and CANT is benificial for dynamic shooting). On the recovery, lets open that can of worms... lol, I believe recovery is going to depend the most on body position and how that body is married to the rifle AND what you are shooting off of. The idea that a single axis (CAL) of movement will allow faster recovery is logical.
