Hello everyone I think I might have a bipod issue. I had this Harris bipod on my McMillan A5 and it fit perfectly fine. I ended up selling the A5 and have an A4 now. And now the bipod doesn't fit flat up against the bottom part of the stock because of the way the bipod if made. So my question is. Is there a bipod made specifically for the A4 or is this something I'm gonna have to live with ? I'll be posting pics soon.

Does it cause any issues? If not, it doesn't matter. If it really bugs you, replace the forward swivel points with a picatinny rail, then upgrade your bipod to a picatinny compatible bipod. When all is said and done, that will set you back a couple hundred dollars, and you'll get no functional gain whatsoever. In other words, don't worry about it.

Well I called McMillan customer service today in regards to that. And before I can finish explaining to him my concern he stopped me and told me not to worry about it. It turns out that I'm not the only one calling about this. He said just as long as the two rubber pieces on top of the bipod make contact there's nothing to worry about. He also suggested Temp9's suggestion of converting to picattiny and an Atlas bipod but it doesn't bother my enough to spend close to 400 dlls for that so I'm gonna have to live with that. Thanks for the help and replies.
