Blaser flush cups

In trying to outfit my new .338 Blaser Tactical 2, I found the swivels in the flush cups lock in at every 90 degrees. In looking at the flush cups, they don't have the ring where the bearings lock into, but rather single detents every 90.

That wouldn't be much of a problem, except the rings on the swivels are too small (I wanted to go with a TAB sling). So, I got out my TAB sling from my Sako, and the swivels fit inside, but do not lock, i.e., I can pull them out with just a little force. I thought maybe it was just the TAB swivels, so I tried two other sets. No go. Only the Blaser swivels actually lock in.

So, I wrote to Blaser USA, and found the flush cups are molded into the stock, and cannot be replaced.

My end goal would be to use a TAB sling-- any thoughts? I considered taking the dremel to the flush cups, but didn't want to ruin them.

I can always go with a narrow sling, if there is no other choice. Remember, this is a Tactical 2-- not a light rifle.

pm TBurkes on here, he will make you anything that you can dream of. Im sure that with some conversation he will make you a TAB Sling that does what you want it to
