Reporters report not give their personal views. He was trying to blame a handgun for the deaths. If dude didn't use a gun he would strangled her or found another way to do it so blaming guns is not the answer Bob.

And btw the old adage of guns don't kill people, people kill people can be applied here too. You don't blame your pencil when you fail a test just like you don't blame your car for getting into an accident. Its operator error.

Costas needs to stick to the things he's good at like being a little bitch. Reminds me of the nerd in school who always tried to put people down for excelling at something they sucked at.

I was shocked that NBC allowed him to use halftime as an opportunity to speak against what are still our constitutional rights. He seems to assume that if the KC player didn't have a gun, it never would have occurred to him to use a knife or other weapon. And the line about people shooting each other over minor disagreements is simply unsupported by any facts.

I remember 20+ years ago when he used to be a sportscaster, now he has nothing to say about sports, and is just sad to listen to.

Yeah he is an idiot. He said something like I know one thing if Belcher did not have a handgun he and his girlfriend would still be here today.

If you're going to pick a situation to say someone would not have died if they didn't own a handgun this one was terrible.

I think a NFL player could kill his girlfriend without a handgun if he wanted to as well as take his own life.

I went off when I saw that while watching. I rarely watch halftime reports with DVR, but had been busy and wanted to catch up on the news from all the games and see the speach from the KC coach and Brady Quinn. Bob Costas put me in a mood for sure.
Maybe I am a grumpy old guy like my wife says and I just need to quit paying attention to society to keep me calm and my blood pressure down. I am sure the jackasses at MSNBC are singing his praises even today

Yep, saw/heard it...............turned off the game. Done with NBC, Sunday Night Football and don't think writing will help, I'm sure it was approved at the highest levels.

The only thing I watch besides a couple hunting shows and some documentary stuff is football. SNF is great for me because the kiddo goes to sleep around 1930. Writing them will only get your name on another list that gets shared with you-know-who as a rightwing, militia supporting nutbag I am guessing. Just like all your google searches!
