Bolt Action Trainer Recommendation

Looking for recommendations for a bolt action trainer rifle (preferably factory). I currently shoot a GAP hospitaller chambered in 6.5 creedmoor w/ a manners T4-A with a 26” barrel and a Timney 2.5# trigger. I’m basically looking to get quite a lot of trigger time with the trainer. Thanks!

See if you have find a cz455 precision trainer. They come in a manners t4 stock from the factory, they are boring accurate and in think street price is around 1k

One of the new CZ 457’s precision trainers with the 24” barrels will probably be the closest you will get unless you want to invest in a Vudoo. The CZ should work well though. It comes in a Manners stock and the weight with the 24” heavy barrel should be close.

A lot of guys use 223 as a trainer, myself included. Maybe a remnignton 700 in 223 using your hospitaler stock would be a good way to get the same feel

223 are always a nice option as long as you have the distance to make them worth it, 22 you can do a lot with limited distance.

What about 223 or 308 barrel for your gap with nice tools to make switching barrels easy

I went with a CZ Precision trainer and its been great. Feel close to my Dasher in a T4-A. I joined a rimfire benchrest league and did pretty good. Great rifle and once I found the right ammo I ordered a ton of the same lot.

A friend of mine has one. I hope to check it soon. But I like what I see and hear so far. Looks very similar to mine.

I recommend getting a 223 bolt rifle. I shoot mine way more than anything else. Out to 5-600 yds it's incredibly accurate, and I throw powder on a Dillon 550 for it. Really fast and cheap to reload.
