Bolt knob change Rem 700.

Looking for recommendations on a supplier/ installer of their product. First time ever having a bolt modified so it’s time to ask the professionals.

Google custom bolt knobs for what ever kind of rifle you have. Find one that you like and pretty much any good gunsmith can install it.

If you have an inexpensive rifle....and don't want the hassle of sending your rifle to a gunsmith....and don't feel like waiting for it to come back....just do yourself a favor...and atleast try one of these:

You can install it yourself in about 30...maybe 45 seconds. On my <$1000 bolt action...it is just fine....probably be fine on the expensive ones too.

This is what I am looking for, thank you for the recommendations.
I am really interested in the kinetic research group bolt on. @b2lee does yours ever get loose to where you need to tighten the supplied screw?

@Jake200 Mine hasn't come loose yet....probably at about 400 rounds and maybe 500 dry fires using it....but others here have them....they may have had issues. I didn't use blue loc-tite or anything....just installed it with one small and one medium O-Ring to make it snug on my bolt....that will make sense when you read the instructions.

X2 on LRI, they did an awesome job on the bolt I sent in, installed a stud and machined the back of the Badger bolt knob to blend it all together. Price was reasonable, service was express. Had the bolt back in no time.

I used the krg bolt lift. Then got smithed and now using a badger ordnance tear drop. Believe I liked the krg better.
