Went and took a piss without washing well enough to get all the spray off my hands. Took about 2 min for the "fire down below" to register. It's an experience you don't soon forget.

Another contribution here. Many decades ago, we used to have wolves so thick in the area that you were allowed to set up cyanide bombs to kill them. The wolf would grab the bait and a string attached to it would set off the bomb. It would blow cyanide in their face. I wonder if you could set up the same thing with bear spray/capsaicin/pepper juice?

Not at all. It's not a real "bomb" that goes off. It's something that would just disperse the capsaicin/pepper juice in a directed burst. A small compressed air burst would do it.

My kid found a home security camera on amazon for cheap. She loaded an app on her phone and she could watch the inside of her place from anywhere. It also panned around. Product call "Roost - No - More" that is used in the pest control industry to keep birds from landing/nesting on ledges and such...sticky as hell, and not easy to get off.

Mouse traps mounted vertically across the back of the sign against the upper edge has got to work. Every one I have ever seen has a small rounded tube built into the trigger plate. You could mount several traps across the back of the sign and run a piece of clothes hangar wire through all the tubes. That way, no matter where they grabbed the back of the sign, all those traps are going off and snapping the crap out of their fingers.
