Looking to replace the single sling stud with a two-screw pic rail on my factory T3x stock.
My understanding is that the stock handguard is hollow plastic with thin reinforcing ribs.
What is the best way to fixate the additional screw threads?
Is there a rail size which best fits and avoids having to fix in a rib?
Thanks!

I use it on a manners fiberglass and I haven’t used it in a plastic stock but this is my first thought. https://www.accu-shot.com/catalog_new/accessories-official-manufacturer/64-bt15-335-1913-rail.html

It’s slotted so you can place that second screw where need be and it’s curved to sort of cradle the stock as well.

I have purchased that very same rail, but not sure how to get the added screw fixated. The spiked stud they sell for that rail seems intended for wood or fiberglass stocks.
