Bought an Blaser R8 stock

Been down this road before with Blaser R93. Had 4 or 5 stocks and 13 barrels. Then I realized that I didn't have any money to do anything and gave it up. Blaser is a cruel mistress. I reckon that Blaser is kind of like the 34 year old quasi-super model 32DD fake tits stripper. They know how to drain you.

I reckon that a 21 year old stripper is dumb, this is the one that you can probably take home. Blaser isn't like that. They are classy, refined from years of shaking it and know how to separate you from your dough.

Anyway I kind of digressed there. I haven't been in a strip club since 2010, but I would assume it is still the same. The smoking hot fake blond who stripped her way through nursing or law school and then realized she didn't really want to be a lawyer or nurse when she was making $800 a night.

I am going to order a GRS Bifrost stock for it from Euro Optics and see if I can sell enough other crap to get into a few reasonable calibers. Last time I had a 338 Win, a 9.3x62, a 375 H&H and a 9.3x64, a 300 Win, a 300 Wby, a 6mm BR, 223, 22-250, 270, 30-06 and 45 Blaser I can't remember the other ones. But your common stuff.

Thinking a 338 Lapua, 7mm of some flavor, a 6XC, a 375 or 9.3mm of some other flavor and a 30-06, 270, 280 or 7x64. 5 barrels tops.

Hmm, not really something I would buy. Installing a GRS Bifrost will be about as tactical as I get. I want to hunt with it and not pack a 13 pound rifle.

They have military pro deal, but it doesn't get me there.

Kind of like the Meopta 6-24 it is kind of a transexual scope that doesn't know if it is a tactical scope or a long range scope.

If I get an Akila it would only be for a 338 Lapua setup rifle on my RRS when doing Elk overlook type hunting, which has been very successful for me.

I just ordered an adjustable Blaser Ultimate to try out and run this Pro with an adjustable comb for packing distance.

With a 300 win std wt barrel, ZCO 420 and 7” Ultra this is only a 10# 1000 yard rifle.

I add about 2# with my 300N match Barrel and a 527 ZCO.

Probably going to put this into the Ultimate receiver and see if I like it.

How much was the upcharge for the adjustable stock?

A GRS Bifrost for a Blaser R8 only weighs 3.5 pounds, the Fine Ballistic Tools carbon fiber stock weighs 2 pounds, I am not sure what a Carbonfiber Blaser R8 stock weighs. I don't want to pay for one though.

Carbon stock R8 from Euro Optics is over $7500.
