Brass Cleaner Recipe

I think it was on this forum, but someone posted a cleaning solution using vinegar, baking soda, dish soap and maybe some other stuff to help clean brass that worked really well. I tried doing a search but didnt find anything. Does anyone know where that link or recipe may be?

i use 50/50 white vinegar water plus s few drops of soap, in ultrasonic cleaner.

I hace never tried it but vinegar and salt works on copper.used to play with pennies with this when I wanted to clean up my pennies before I would go the the store.just some salt and vinegar.never really knew how much to use.just did it. John

Thats the one I remember looking at. Thanks..
I thought it called for some baking soda to knock down the acidity of the vinegar a bit, but I guess not..

think volcano. thats what happens when you mix vinegar & soda. no heat, but foam city
