I need a kydex OWB holster for a 5 inch 1911. Which one of these is the way to go? Is the Bravo as good as the Raven?

You'll probably get it quicker from Bravo than Raven. Granted there's the 3rd option of making it yourself like I did.

You'll probably get it quicker from Bravo than Raven. Granted there's the 3rd option of making it yourself like I did.

Waited approximately 3-4 months for the Raven and it was worth the wait. Lots of comliments to go along with the tight/snug fitting holster for my M&P 4" barrell 45. Comes with inside waist band as well. go to movies with it concealed and no one notices!

I can't comment on the two holsters you mentioned but I just had a great experience with Pitbull Tactical. He didn't have the gun and light combo I was after so he took a day and called everyone he knew and came up with everything he needed. 2 week turn around. If you want another option give him a call!

It is worth the wait for the Raven. Excellent product and good customer service. Who knows, you may get lucky and time your order at the beginning of a 1911 production run.
