One of the overarching agendas of the left has ALWAYS been to get and expand Universal Background Checks, then expand, expand, expand, prohibited persons......
Only a gun owner living in a root cellar under Mom’s basement, is surprised by this.
They are shifting their aim, because THEY want AR's, and Handguns. Witnessed a blue-haired Lesbian screaming at a counter guy about why couldn't she pick up her pistol when she paid for it, and being thunderstruck at the reply that "Well, YOU voted for this law!" (California gun shop, two week wait)

I work for a lot of people, prob more than have are liberals(I hate this town). Almost all of them have a gun or two. None of them train with them, but they are all against the public having guns for anything besides hunting(or so they say). I tell them “oh good news, you can hunt with an ar15 and for certain size animals it is an excellent choice”.
See “good for me, not for thee” runs in their veins. They think they are ok to have one but “right wingers” are the problem. Most don’t get into debates, but the few that have i ask questions like “what political party do almost all mass shooters, school shooters and general gun violence come from?” They ALL think its right wing!!! Lmfao. I say “ seems you may need to do some research on the fbi and look up those people and what their past way, it will blow your little minds”

The "background check" language in the article seems to indicate no real change in agenda, just a regrouping and tighter focus on the aspect that "seems" to have the broadest appeal (or perhaps the least opposition... if polls are to be believed).
Not sure why the original post got blocked but I did a search on youtube and opened that video with no problem.
