Well my buddy calls me up this morning and says come on...I want to watch you shoot some yotes (he does not hunt them). He always has some good places to go...he is a big deer and hog hunter.

I load up the New Prairie Blaster and the Tikka and head to his place. I get there and he has his big river boat (27 footer) hooked up to his truck.
Ok...he says wait till you see the spot I have.

We hit the river (Sac. river) and head down stream about 30 min.'s or so. There is a piece of land/water locked BLM land.

Get set up.....hit the call....less then 3 min.'s this nice male comes in. He stops about 150 yrds out...I settle the crosshairs on his chest....squeezed off the shot...dog down!

Not to bad for a 1 hour outing.

Take care,Stan

PS...here is a pic taken from my phone on the front of the boat on our way home.

Re: Broke in the new FoxPro Prairie Blaster

I agree DM...I really enjoy yote bust'in!

JCH...I like it. It's LOUD...very good sound quality, and the remote is great.
It is LARGE though...and expensive. It replaced my OCC (Open Country Call) and I brought in a lot of yotes with it.
Overall I am very happy with it.

Take care,Stan

BBB,
Does it have a jack for an external battery? I can't find it on any of the spec sheets, only "install 8 D-cells".
Thx,
Dave
