G'day guys , I have just overtightened the base on my nightforce rings and snapped the little clamp bit that secures the base to the rail . I know it's a long shot but has anyone got a unused piece lying around ? I have attached some pics so you can see what I'm talking about . Cheers

If there not nightforce I have no idea what they are , I purchased them of a guy on an Aussie shooting forum

Cheers guys ! I just compared them to a set of nightforce rings & they look similar but there are a couple of pretty obvious differences . I'll see if a mate of mine can machine me a new jaw . Thanks again

That rail looks odd too. It appears flat on the side which wouldn't offer any place for the ring to clamp securely. That's probably why the piece broke.

One thing for sure, that rail is definitely different from any 1913 picatinny rail I've used.

I think that's just an optical illusion. Look again. It looks like a normal, hulk-green picatinny rail.

I torqued the rings to 65pnd when it snapped. I think using a torque wrench instead of the screwdriver style torque wrench has something to do with them snapping. Anyway I called into my local gunshop today and compared them with the leupy mark 4's , turns out they are leupy's not nightforce . I purchased them of a fella on a shooting forum over here & he had them listed as nightforce . Doesn't bother me if they are leupy's or nightforce I just want it fixed , hopefully leupold can send me a replacement piece.
