Anyone tried these in a bolt rifle? I"m curious what velocities and decibels are typical with 16"+ barrel. There seem to be good options for cans from CZ, Howa, Ruger.
FYI these were too fast out of 16" bolt rifle. About 1/3 having a noticeable crack. Granted it was a hot humid day around 90 degrees. I will try again when the temp is lower and hopefully borrow a chronograph.
I have shot about 800 of them out of a 16" gasser suppressed. If memory serves the specs are right at 1100fps so right on the edge. Accurate as heck in my 1:10 though first night I had them sat in a tree and turned a raccoon's head into a canoe at about 90 yards. My dad loves these I gave him my gasser and built him a Form1 and about 1,500 rounds of the BB he's like a little kid it's hilarious watching him plink steel with it.
haha thats great, i'm sure they would be awesome in an sbr. i was getting pretty close to 2 moa at 50 and 100 yrds, 1:9.5. i will have some other factory subsonics to try soon. PPU has 762x39 in their subsonic line and i actually found some. detriot ammo has two sub reloads, a 220 gr for gas guns and 150 gr soft point

Mine was shot out of a PWS 7.62x39 16" 1:10 suppressed hilariously quiet sans the odd fast one. I used to have the 11.5" PWS and they were all subsonic out of that. I will warn you the 220 Detroits will likely not stabilize if you are using 1:10 I shot maybe 4 of them....keyholed the paper. I think 220s might need that 1:8 like a lot of 300bo.
Finally able to check some of these. Surprising that the Wolf was the slowest today. Yesterday when I setup the chronograph here, it was 20 degrees warmer and several of the Wolf that I did not record then were 1100+ fps. 35 F today, hopefully I can check these again on warm day. I didn't have enough to really get groups, but it was pretty clear the Detriot reloads were going to be the worst of the bunch with 3-4" groups at 50 yards. The Wolf and PPU had mostly vertical stringing.
