Hi, ok i was lucky to score this new HP, but the factory configuration was taking away a lot from this combat pistol, so some big changes needed to be done ASAP.
First the list of upgrades
Replace sights, springs, grips, adjust trigger and remove mag safety, stippling the front and back of the grip, remove right side safety lever, cut and reprofile the hammer and a polish the ramp for the barrel.

I really like the profile you put on the hammer. Whose grips are those?

I have a '73 HP that has some of the most gorgeous bluing of any of my guns, so I'm a little reluctant to do anything to it but have the internals worked on. But the sights are so tiny, at some point I'm going to have to bite the bullet and send it to someone.

Hi, thanks guy's yes it came out very nice and shoots dead on, so far i5 got 250 rds thru and no jams with the 7 mags it came.
The grips are made by VZ grips and the color it's the tiger stripe, after the sights5 were intall it really transform the gun, i'm going to keep the blue Finnish i'm not going to carry this one, it's to nice for scrath the blue Finnish.

I am planning on an FEG clone in the near future. Any suggestions as far as doing a similar project on the pistol? I don't have the money for the real-deal right now, but would like something other than a 45ACP 1911 for range duty. As always, thanks for your suggestions, JA.

Thanks, the grips are made by VZ GRIPS and the model is pro slim in color tiger stripe.

Thanks Prom, I think I might grab one. Next question: where to get a barrel (BarSto is more expensive than the pistol and has quite a wait, and EFK FireDragons have terrible reviews and shoddy customer service)?

nice I miss my pistols had a mauser built HP till they banned them. I like what you've done with the grips not sure on the hammer maybe that's just me.

the BHP is a great weapon. But I haven't been able to justify the total cost vs a 1911.

Nice job but I don't think I would have gone that far on the hammer bob (just my $.02) on a single action gun. It's a shame you didn't just swap out the safety as I could really use an ambi for my gun and would have bought yours. Good call on the sights, the factory Milletts look like a monkey screwing a football.
