Curious if anyone has one and measure their freebore. I'm running 108 eldm and my bto new was 2.254 now after 114 rounds it’s 2.250. Just trying to figure this out.

Not to derail the topic, but how does it shoot? Love Browning but don't see much mentioned here about them.

Still doing load development. Rl16 and 108's 42 grns will put me at. 3150ish. Clover leafs 3 shots and Then a 1/4” flier for 4th shot. groups at 100 yards. I can say not sure why but barrel heats up quicker than some of my others.

My guess is slight carbon ring or measurement error on initial measurement. I've had it happen also with Hornady tool: used different force on new vs subsequent measures and ended with different readings.

I measure with 5 different bullets using firm pressure and use the shortest value as reference. My typical variation is -+.002 from reading to reading with Hornady/Sierra. Berger's tend to be closer to +-.001.

Also if your using the actual exact same bullet as reference for multiple readings, it's very possible it's slightly dented and would give short readings with successive measurements.
