Anyone use Bruno?A friend of mine turned me on to there site however he hadn't ordered from them.Hows there stock compared to what they show in-stock?How about turnaround time?
Thanks guys.

I did'nt have a problem last month when I ordered from him. I have heard some bad things though. Either they show its in stock when it isnt, or he price gouges. I ordered 100 pieces of 338 Lapua brass from him though because it was the only place I could find it. It took a week and a half to come in. I havent had a bad problem with him, but I have heard others have. Supposedly benchrest shooters hate brunos.

I've ordered from them, quiet a bit. In better times than these, their prices are hard to beat. They usually have about the best price on Lapua brass. I've never had a problem with them. Lightman

They are local to me. I have spent ALOT of $$ with them before the crazyness started. They always had the best prices on everything. Now, they are one of the only people with stock, but their prices are outrageous. \However, they are a reliable company and can be counted on.

Not sure I'm feeling that confident with them lately.

Here's my order confirmation from Feb.14th for some VLD's that we're shown in stock on the website and in this confirmation.
Haven't heard from them and emailed last week to make sure it didn't get lost in the shuffle, Still nothing yet.
I understand things are busy as heck but it does leave you in limbo without knowing an estimated ship date...either way I'll keep the order.

I'm in the exact same boat. Ordered over a month ago items that were "In stock." I've sent multiple emails and have tried to call dozens of times. Their phone is ALWAYS busy. Not sure whats going on, but at this point I just want an acknowledgment that my order went through and its on the way relatively soon. My order was placed on 2/09.

Bob

Good luck getting them on the phone these days. Placed an order about a month ago with everything being in stock and have not received any indication of shipment. After many phone calls with no luck of any sort of human contact, I am just kind of giving up on them for now. Im sure they are swamped with orders, so hopefully some day I get a surprise present in the mail.

I've always had positive experiences with Brunos. Lots of phone, internet and face-to-face orders at the Super Shoot.

Haven't ordered anything in the last couple of months from them, but historically they've been a reliable company.

Benchrest guys love brunos. He builds some high quality rigs. Plus always has bat and other actions as well as krieger barrels in stock. I've ordered a ton of stuff and the. only thing i don't like is the shipping. Other than that they are gtg

Brunos has been a source for supplies when others haven't had it for me for years. I just ordered some bullets online and had a friend that lives close by go to pick them up and they didn't have them. I was able to get another brand that was acceptable and in stock then cancel my online order. You can't rely on their websites available inventory and it takes time to get through on the phone as they are a small operation. Forget calling on a Saturday, when I was in there recently the phone was off the hook. The price on most items wasn't bad but primers were somewhat high priced, but they had them.

All I know is they are WAY behind right now! I ordered a die set in mid February and they still aren't here. Contacted them around the beginning of March and they said they were still working on the beginning of February. Seems like they could get some part time help to stuff boxes and get them caught up? I dunno.

My experience with them has been very poor customer service. Ordered 243 brass shown in stock. Waited weeks, attempted multiple contacts email and phone. Finally got on the phone. Told ordered brass not in stock, (still shown in stock on site). Cancelled order. Won't buy from them again!

I'm in the same boat. Ordered 5 lbs of powder and nothing from them. Ordered 2/14 and emailed them. No response. Their number is always busy even when I have called in the middle of the night. They must leave the phone off the hook.

Yep, the lady I spoke to indicated they leave the phones off hook and that someone must have mistakenly put back on. I felt they like to hook you on an web order then leave you hanging.

They were very friendly, but i can not believe what they charge for primers. I dont mind paying a little more, but not what they want. I did pick up some bullets from them and they shipped the next day.

Most companies involved in the reloading industry are WAY behind and simply swamped by unprecedented buying sprees. I have used Bruno's,but would recommend Powder Valley for reloading components. Unfortunately, you'll find alot of "out of stock" items at most suppliers. So when you can,get while the gettin' is good!!

Glad I found this thread.....for a second there I thought Bruno Shooter's Supply were a bunch of suck-heads. They don't answer e-mails or phone calls. I realize times are crazy, but if you flush all customer service down the toilet, when times normalize, they've just lost 1/2 their customers!

I have a bullet backordered and wanted to see if it shipped. They were showing this bullet in stock about 8 days ago and was just curious. I'll keep my backorder, but if they simply answer a phone call or reply back to my e-mail, they would keep me as a customer........now, I'm one and done for Bruno!

I am local and I can tell you that they are 2 weeks or more behind on just getting to online orders. They have a great shop if you are local but I wouldn't order online quite frankly. They do have a great supply of bullets and power.

I have three orders with them going back over a month. They have not returned any email queries, and their phone is ALWAYS busy. I know they're busy, but still, terrible way to do business!

I had a frustrating experience with them, as well. Nice enough people, but they seemed fairly incompetent when considering customer service. In the end, I got what I ordered, but they made it way more difficult than it needed to be. Also, they don't keep their website updated with current inventories. I would not worry about steering clear of them, just be prepared for some challenging email exchanges if anything goes wrong.

This has been my experience with Bruno too.

My biggest problem with them is ordering items at one price and then being charged higher. They may be nice people and all but from now on I'll take my business elsewhere until things calm down to where they are less overwhelmed.

I hate to actually post this but I feel much better dealing with the likes of some smaller, lesser known, suppliers like and outfit called Powder Valley and Midsouth and Butch's and Graf's and Natchez.
(As long as none of you pricks order form the places I do we'll be OK )

I have ordered from them many times, and had nothing but positive experiences. To everyone that has their panties in a bunch over high prices and shortages of reloading supplies, I say serves you right. When will you learn? I saw this shit when Clinton was elected the first time, and again when the AWB was on us, and then when our current President was elected, and then on his re-election! All my gun friends thought I was off my rocker when I got back to back 48lb hazmat shipments from Powder Valley, or when I went to my local Gun Show and needed a hand truck to wheel my 15 sleeves of primers to my rig. I will not order anything reloading related for at least 6-9 months, probably longer. All the suppliers are doing the best they can, cut them some slack! Rant off, J

I've done Brunos before, back in '08/'09 and apart from an extra 'handling charge', things went smoothly, but be aware, total 'shipping' charges might be a tad high.

I did Grafs and things went well, same with MidSouth, Natchezz and even Midway, although the latter has gotten a bit spendy over the past few years.

I have had some real bad experiences with them. The worst one was they charged my account for no reason. Just out of the blue and there is a charge on my account. I have also bought an item at one price and been charged a higher price. I have bought things that their website says "in stock" and after 5 weeks I called them and said WTF are my items and they gave me some BS excuse and then told me they were still waiting for their order to arrive. F----------------------------------

They are definitely over priced on stuff right now, by a long shot, and ordering anything online is a crap shoot. I have been into their 'store' and didn't have a terrible experience, but i only bought a barrel and some primers. Primers were a little high but they were cci#34(like $42) but the barrel price was competitive. I won't order powder or primer from them at their current gouge pricing and shipping/handling charges.

I am really glad they are being called out! You can't stay in business very long doing the kind of crap they pull on people. If you EVER order from them they have your credit info, watch your account like a hawk for bogus charges. If I hadn't been watching my account I would have been had.

I placed an order recently and other than the "notice of order placed" email, I haven't heard anything from them. :(

They probably don't have what you ordered in stock, they are famous for that. What you are doing in retrospect is placing a backorder. Be ready for a wait. They use the excuse that they are backlogged with orders when they really don't have the goods in.

Their website is not always accurate (like so many others lately) but if you place an order you will get it and you will eventually get a response to emails. LOL, it may take a month but you'll get a response. And if you responded to your order confirmation then it went to Lester. He will have to forward it to Amy for a response so if he didn't forward you won't get a response. Try [email protected] and that will go straight to Amy. They are behind like everyone else but not as far behind as Powder Valley on in stock items. Good people and they seem to have stock on items when no one else does.

In stock at gouge pricing. I feel sorry for them once this frenzy ends.
