what does everyone use for a brush size for a 6.5cm to clean their chamber/neck and area where carbon ring usually builds up?
I have everything to clean the bore and chamber cleaning kit but dont have a brush to clean the chamber neck area and where the carbon ring builds. I was thinking maybe 7 mm or 30 cal but maybe a 30 cal is too big. idk.
thanks,
justin

If you are using a brush to clean the bore it will clean that area too. No need for a special brush. The chamber itself doesn’t need a brush. Just some solvent on a larger patch spun in it.

Good to know thanks. By chance do you know what causes your brass to have carbon fowling that goes below the neck and onto the shoulder and if there's a solution or if it even matters? I was thinking maybe it's from a carbon ring building up allowing fowling to prevent the neck to sealing off before the fowling sneaks by?
I'm running a suppressor so idk if that makes it's more dirty or not. I'm new to bolt guns. Only ever owned semis so idk whats up helf the time with bolt guns lol
