Rifle Scopes bsa or vortex crossfire scope

dont bash me i searched and searched and not came up with much looking for somthing for out to about to 500yards with a savage 110 7mm rem mag with heavy barrel

I have to say, yes buy the Viper. BSA have not done well and we have had a number of them returned. Get the Vortex Viper.

You are really making a mistake if you buy a scope that is under $300, but if you have to look at the Elite 3200 10x or maybe a Primary Arms 4-16X44. Both scopes sell for around $150. I have seen the Elite 3200 and it was ok but I would rather spend more and get something better. The Primary Arms looks interesting and it has 80 MOA of elevation, locking knobs, and good CS. I wouldn’t recommend either scope, and a Viper seems like a better idea but both scopes are probably better then either scope you listed.

seems to be a solid little scope with matching reticle & adjustments.

Either this or a Super sniper, but then you'll be stuck with a fixed magnification (not sure if that matters or not).

i made a big mistake and bought a firefield 10x40x50 and let me tell you that is the worst scope ever there 40 x zoom is really like 10 and wont hold zero to save its life

I wouldn't recommend a BSA for anything. Look at Sightron you get a lot of scope for the money with them.

You can find some of the Vipers in vplex reticles going at closeout prices under $300 with a little searching.

BSA= complete junk. The number of people I see trying to save money by buying BSA always regard it.

I saw Vortex crossfires on closeout for dirt cheap at SWFA before...

I got the Vortex from SWFA for 99$ last year for my .22LR Savage MK2.

Comparing it to other ~100$ optics I have seen and looked through I was completely amazed by the price versus quality. It's worlds apart from the 'higher end' Tasco's and BSA and scopes in that range.

I'm not sure if it was a promotional price or what but if they are still available I would jump on it.

I just mounted a Bushnell Elite 10X. Got it from Sample List for 130 bucks or so. I have been playing with this thing, and already I am learning to love it.

I picked up one of the vipers on closeout for 250 and it is a very good scope. It is far better than the crossfire and diamond back that I have. Looking back on it I should have bought 2.
