If there was a bucket list of classes/instructors, who/where would it be? I’m going to try to make time for as many as I can over the next couple years. So far, this is my list:

(Please only suggest people who actively teach, not “I wish I could take a class from XYA top shooter.”

    Rifles Only (Jacob Bynum)
    Frank Galli
    Phillip Velayo
    Terry Cross

    Who am I missing?

    Thanks

Had an intro class at CORE with Brian Morgan that was good. A class out at his new Hat Creek training looks like it would be cool by the photos seen on his Facebook page.

Colorado Precision Rifles (Brian Whalen) at Blue Steel Ranch, NM.

Norm Crawford wind reading class up in NC.

Who is Phil?? Every-time I look him up, some young impostor who is handsome and a selfie guy pops up... he can't possibly be in the same group of old guys my age.. When Cross was on, did anyone beat him, then you had Jacob inventing 1/2 the shit or at least packaging it in a useful way and Frank.. who is he?

I hate anyone faster, better, better looking, younger, has tons of self humility and handsome.. -- my list is long.. but wait.. wait, maybe I actually have bro crush...

PS freaking solid list, posts 1&2

Scott Satterlee is an exceptional shooter and instructor.

A lot of his classes this year are listed as "hunter" focused through Sawtooth Rifles and also has worked with Brian Morgan on the high angle stuff in Idaho. If you want a PRS focused class he's also a stellar coach there too. He's been a consistent top 10 finisher for many years.

I’m going to take the PR1 and 2 at Rifles Only this fall. Then next year try to get into one of Frank’s classes. Maybe head out to New Mexico the following year for Brian Whalen’s class.

since there are more classes being offered i want to hit them all a few times over and maybe some more since I am as dense as a brick wall and twice as suborn at times .

Pumps Precision Rifle Training (Chase "Pump" Stroud) - excellent shooter and instructor.

Jacob Bynum of RO is great - always love going there. K&M is pretty good as well, their facility is top notch.

    Adding to these solid suggestions:

Scott Saterlee hosts a great class/clinic. For the one held at Pala we were also able to get practice with his moving target. Matt Yore and Jorge Ortiz were also present to guide the class.

I highly recommend Gunsite’s Precision Rifle class with Walt Wilkinson and Cory Trapp as instructors and Rifles Only with Jacob Bynum. Both are excellent classes.

K&M is on my to do list.
I echo your comments. I have taken the PR7 Course and then an advanced precision rifle course at Gunsite. If you want to be pushed by a challenging curriculum, Walt and Cory are passionate and give everything they have. Also, you are not shooting the same targets every day. In fact, you never shoot the same targets. The facilities are unbelievable with target arrays galore. We shot movers, night targets and learned to work in 2 man teams with a competition at the end. 7 days is a long time but there is a massive amount of information to grasp and they give it to you. You will shoot about 600 rounds during the week. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Worth every nickel. Sniper Ridge at Gunsite is my happy place. I will be back.
