People watch NASCAR because there is passing on almost every lap. From the looks of things in the Bud shootout there will likely be 20+ different leaders in the 500 this year. It's fun to see your favorite car make it to the front even if it is for only one lap. </div></div>
I followed formula one for a decade and a half and you summed it up. Formula one is 1/4 winning in qualifying, 1/4 in the pits,1/4 with the $$ spent prior to the season and 1/4 in the race.
There is probably more passing in two laps of Nascar than a F-1 race. </div></div>
Well, that's why I don't watch F1 <span style="font-style: italic">either</span>, but even though I'm sure NASCAR has a lot more going on than meets the untrained eye, I still think F1 takes 1000 times more talent, which could be entertaining to watch in itself. I mean, just going around in a big circle, sometimes every turn seemingly exactly the same, seems a little pointless, overly repetitious, and redundant after 500 laps. Seems like they could cut it down to like 100-150 and it would be the same thing. It's one thing if you're going for endurance, but then go all the way like the 24hour le mans or something.
But what do I know.

Kind of reminds me of cutting grass. So instead of that I watch the honey Badger do it. Then I move the IROC Z28 camaro to another part of the yard so it can kill the grass there. Better watch out. Honey Badger doesn't give a shit.
And yea, I know it's a southern thing. I grew up in Philly, so I really wouldn't know. However, I do live in West Virgina now, and I also like to drink beer and cook out, and shoot the shit out of things, and big honkn' lifted trucks,......but turning left 500 times still puzzles me.
